The story so far. The story so far. I work in a variety of media both traditional and industrial. My work explores process, and a belief that we create our own reality, sadly often painfully. I am fascinated by the process of change and choice both conscious and unconscious. I have always been very affected by landscape and with the privilege of hindsight and enough years to study I can see more readily the influences in my own work. Cast silver and ceramic – 2002. The story so far. The story so far. I am based in the North of England but travel widely and enjoy the working facilities of both a cottage garret studio in Staithes Village on the North Yorkshire coast and an engineering workshop in the rolling hills of the Derbyshire Peak District. That said, my interest is driven by the nature that surrounds me; the process of change and the development of an organism is endlessly fascinating. I am drawn ever further into an artist’s exploration of that process.
