So what crazy person goes on hiatus for a summer, doesn’t watch her diet, doesn’t follow a routine for exercising, and still decided it is a-okay to enter a 5K? April 13, 2011. I finally went to the orthopedist today about my knee. It was a really nice office . . . one of the nicest doctor’s offices I have been to in a while. They did X-rays on my knee before I saw the doctor. And they gave me awful shorts to wear for the X-rays and doctor’s exam. I have no idea what these things were made out of, but they were the most unflattering shorts I have ever worn. He also gave me a knee brace to wear that is about as unflattering as the shorts. Breath of fresh air. May Challenges →. April 29, 2012. My weekend was a little ehh, nothing too fun going on, Friday night I worked and saturday I went to coffee(tea for me) with a old high school friend followed by my sisters prom pictures, she looked gorgeous, she had one of the prettiest dresses. Starting off on the right foot. May 2, 2012. These posts might get a bit annoying, but I feel it’s the best way to keep me accountable this month. I started my morning off with oatmeal in which I added 2 small apples and some raisins. I munched on a wheat-berry salad while I made my raw Spanish rice and then had half of that mixed bean salad with hot sauce followed by an apple. I’ve tried the sauces and the packets in the grocery store but there’s always something missing. My friend made me this butter chicken and it was to die for and tasted like the real thing! To be honest I was sick (still am) a few weeks ago with nasty allergy/sinus stuff……you know since Louisiana decided to start spring in February and bloom! Then I went on a cruise for some much needed R&R. Once docking back in LA – yep you guessed it! More sinus/allergy crap because I was back in the land of pollen. Here are a few of my favorite things.
