HelenNoBlog: Can You Guess??

http://helennoblog.blogspot.com/2015/06/can-you-guess.html

Saturday, June 13, 2015. Guess what this little gadget is. D) all of the above. The answer is (d) and I bought one today at my guild meeting. It is a handy "iron" for pressing seams at the sewing machine, leaves no carbon footprint, and relieves neck pain- -all in one cute little power-less tool. Oh, and I bought these luscious reds to use it on.no sleep tonight! June 13, 2015 at 7:11 PM. Lynda Halliger Otvos (Lynda M O). June 15, 2015 at 9:23 PM. And the reds are stunning. Meanwhile, I am starting a new quilt-. May 18, 2015 at 7:56 AM. So glad the landscape work has begun. Hopefully the grass will appear soon. Whats a gal to do? Make a new quilt, of course! Friday, December 30, 2011. Here We Go - Mary on Lake Pulaski's January Block. I knew you all. Love both applique and paper piecing so it was hard to choose.but. ETA: 12 1/2 inch block - 12 inch finished block. Pattern is from www.piecebynumber.com. I washed all the fabric I'm sending so don't use anything else (let me know if you need more). Two's Company Quilt Bee: May 2012

http://twoscompanyquiltbee.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 19, 2012. May Blocks for LeeAnn. I've been wondering for a while why I had these greens in my stash - now I know! So I could make your blocks for this swap. They are really lime green, not Christmas green that they look in this post. I think this quilt is going to be amazing. Can't wait to see this one proceed. Mary on Lake Pulaski. Sunday, May 13, 2012. Two's Company Quilt Bee: February 2012

http://twoscompanyquiltbee.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Red Geese for Jackie. Thanks to Jackie's great instructions, these were fun! Bear's Paw for Mary B in March. A little switch from the reds for March! For my block, I'm looking for blues. I think the bear's paw is one of my favorite patterns- something about a big, mean bear translated into a soft, comfy quilt, which, when it's done, you can say is a "bear hug" when it's wrapped around you. The block is a pattern from the terrific 501 Rotary Cut Blocks. Also, March is my mont...

Two's Company Quilt Bee: Peppermint Stick for Andrea

http://twoscompanyquiltbee.blogspot.com/2012/07/peppermint-stick-for-andrea.html

Thursday, July 12, 2012. Peppermint Stick for Andrea. I finished my Peppermint Stick and signature blocks for Andrea while I was on retreat at Gruber's with my prized blogging friends. Not as fun as Amanda Jean's.But I didn't have that many bright, clear reds, surprisingly. I found that I have a tendency more toward the brick reds. So, I found these two great reds at Gruber's. They are on their way to you! LOL But that's just me. Your tutorial was awesome. Once I got the hang of it, I was okay. Peas In A...

http://cocktailsandthread.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html

July 7, 2014. Wow Okay that was super fast. Sorry for the absence. On to the yummy stuff. For starters I am mobile and managed to run a 10k 3 weeks ago. 9 weeks after my broken ankle I had healed so much so that I was cleared to run the Queens 10k. I'm still taking it slow and steady. Will post a pic. But I want to get to my completions first. Drum roll. "Scrappalicious" is done and in the mail to QBL. Kathy Dougherty's class at QBL last year was great. And here's how great it was. Links to this post.

Cocktails and Thread: Sooo excited to try this...

http://cocktailsandthread.blogspot.com/2015/02/sooo-excited-to-try-this.html

February 4, 2015. Sooo excited to try this. So I discovered that you could put your home machine on a quilt frame. And so the quest began. I began researching all of the options, there are a number of frames available for a range of prices. My focus was on space saving and ease of use and set up. So I saw a few other possible options, however the reviews and such pushed me away from it. And then it was put together and shipped promptly and arrived in 3 days. Sweet. See the images below. Did you ever get ...

April 23, 2014. Everything happens for a reason. Okay So I have been away from social media during the Lenten season. And so much has happened. Many of my friends had to call or text me to know how I was. What a concept lol. Anyway. Sunday April 14, 2014 I completed my first half marathon, hills and all. I finished in 2hrs 47 min and felt wonderful. And yes I am buying this photo. Lol. So Next up is the Brooklyn half marathon in May. Long story short. Enchantment is something that we encounter, that hits us, but it is also a comportment that can be fostered through deliberate strategies.
