People Thinking Action: Nephrostomy: What works and what does not work?
http://peoplethinkingaction.blogspot.com/2016/01/nephrostomy-what-works-and-what-does.html
Taking sides in the clash between humanity and impersonal systems. Thursday, 21 January 2016. Nephrostomy: What works and what does not work? Last week I had a procedure to insert a stent into the outlet of my right kidney, to allow urine to empty freely into my bladder. Because the ends of my ...

People Thinking Action: Maximising Choice and Control in End of Life Planning
http://peoplethinkingaction.blogspot.com/2016/01/maximising-choice-and-control-in-end-of.html
Taking sides in the clash between humanity and impersonal systems. Tuesday, 19 January 2016. Maximising Choice and Control in End of Life Planning. Let's make it clear that I have no intention of dying for as long as possible into the future! I intend to take every opportunity I can, despite my stage 4 metastatic bowel cancer to live and enjoy life. If a chance comes up for more chemo or a clinical trial, I'm going to take it. So I've been reading about and talking to people about 'End Of Life Planning',...
