Saturday, February 5, 2011. I've had a few people mention that they have phoned there but had no answer - Mom very rarely answers the phone anymore (if Dad is outside) as she is too tired to talk. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Our family got together tonight to talk about Mom's oncology visit today. It has been very difficult the last few days, as Mom has been so tired as well as dealing with ongoing pain in her legs. Palliative Care will be coming tomorrow morning to talk about these things. It has been an emotional day, but we still had a nice evening together as family. Mom got an IV of hydrating fluid tonight (thanks Deb! And that really perked her up. She's still smiling! One day at a time.

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Mom is having quieter days now.she sleeps much of the day, with a little more wakefulness in the afternoon. Her pain is being managed well - she looks comfortable, and is now sleeping in her "new" bed in the living room. Palliative care is coming by regularly, as well as Deb Nordeman - Mom is in such good hands. Thank you for your continued prayers. February 23, 2011 at 2:27 PM. Were praying for your family! Thursday, February 24, 2011. Mom's health has deteriorated quite quickly the last couple of days. She is almost bedridden, and having a hard time following conversations.
