September 30, 2016. 11,500 years ago, a cataclysm happened that tilted the planet on its axis and set in motion the precession of the equinoxes and the seasons as we know them…this is the premise I discuss in this week’s blog on “ Scattering the Light. Shining a light on the art process. Painting Light Curated Gallery. Artist’s Main Website. September 7, 2015. September 7, 2015. It was a beautiful accident that I discovered oil paints at the exact point when my health crashed with fibromyalgia. Shining a light on the art process. Painting Light Curated Gallery. Artist’s Main Website. Out of the box. March 1, 2017. March 2, 2017. Have been an original and, though I was primarily engaged with all the chit-chat of the reunion, I literally couldn’t take my eyes off it. By now, of course, I knew this painting, by pre-Raphaelite artist J.D.Bitten (1860-1932), was “Pandora”. Where had she come from; why an orignal of such caliber in a museum about rural crafts? Her, somewhat detatched from herwhile sh...
