At Eastminster, there is usually a friendly buzz in the air before service as neighbours greet each other and catch up. But this place of fellowship is also a place for reflection and thoughtful contemplation, so if you chose to use this as alone time — that is perfectly fine. I’m coming with kids. Is that OK?

This community program is part of the Out of the Cold project operating throughout the week in various churches and other faith communities across Toronto. Each Friday night we feed up to 130 guests, and have room to sleep 45. Overnight guests are fed a hot breakfast Saturday morning and sent on their way with a tasty bag lunch.

Here you may bring your infant or toddler (up to Senior Kindergarten) for story-time, simple but fun craft activities, plenty of toys, and, of course, snack! Staffed by parent volunteers, the nursery is a safe and loving environment where you may come with your child or drop them off.
