I've learned how much having Winnie makes living alone okay, she is great company. I've learned so much academically, starting with the fact that I could successfully go back to school after age 50. What will a new year "on the mountain" bring? Monday, May 7, 2012. Year Two is Finished. My exams are all completed and turned in, I am sure I passed all my classes, that and the Dean's declaration makes it official . . . I'm a senior in seminary. That's a big deal, to me at least! What will a new year "on the mountain" bring? Monday, July 11, 2011. It is amazing the difference the last two weeks has made in CPE! And one of the best parts was the man who sublet my house is a better housekeeper than I am. He left me homemade cookies and a very clean house. What will a new year "on the mountain" bring? Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Wow, where has the time gone? School has been under way for a month and a half and that time has just flown by. By all reports Middler year is more difficult than Junior year, so far (don't tell anyone) I am not finding that to be the case. Not that it isn't challenging, it is. What will a new year "on the mountain" bring? Tuesday, March 20, 2012. You would think that after 54 plus years I would have grown accustom to the speed of time, but I haven't. I am still amazed that each time I look up huge blocks of time have transpired. Does this mean I'm "living in the present" (a good thing) or "buried in minutia" (a bad thing)? Some of both I guess. Saturday, July 3, 2010. Our last item on this memorable visit was our canal trip. We visited a number of old and new canals, among them the singing cavern. At the end of our trip several children had a go at 'legging' the heavy boat along the canal. Good night, we'll be with you for the last time tomorrow. Trying on hats at the millner. Enjoying typical fish and chips. The children used up some of their limitless energy playing typical Victorian games. The chainmaker at his forge. Just imagine the smell.
