Tuesday, January 25, 2011. One of the songs on Avery's CAR RIDE CD is "When the Saints Go Marching In" so she learned the word "march" and mommy showed her how. She was practicing her new skill in the kitchen! Avery and her neighbor Sara are sissy's since they both are only children! Avery learned the word "sissy" about a month ago and now says it anytime Sara is near, we drive by her house, etc. Avery sure loves her sissy! Avery and Sara holding hands on the way to Red Robin! Thursday, April 21, 2011. Avery celebrated her 2nd birthday a little early in Omaha with lots of family! Mommy and daddy were so thankful that so many people got to come and have fun. We ate yummy food and played VERY HARD on the jungle gyms and choochoo. Thank you everyone! Avery has discovered air hockey. Avery and her cousin Ruben struting around Pizza Machine. Sunday, February 13, 2011. The Many Faces of Avery. It has been so fun seeing the "little person" that Avery is becoming. She definitely has her preferences on things and lets everyone know! Our little girl is also a great eater (most of the time) so food/drink seem to be a constant in most of her pics haha. The pics below are just some random ones from our daily life! Avery has discovered Nutella and loves it. It is a messy "process" because apparently it tastes WAY better if you rub it around on your hands and face before eating it. Sunday, April 25, 2010. I am ONE today! What a cutie patootie. Come on Hank, let's cruise the hood.". See ya. I am outta here! I have a car! Well our darling Avery had her FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY this weekend! We had lots of family and friends that joined us in celebrating. There was yummy food, yummy desserts and Avery cleaned up in the present department. Everyone was so thoughtful and generous. Avery's decorations included a "princess theme" which is totally appropriate, don't you think? What is it then?

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Loose Park With My Friend Liv. Since it is still pretty hot out, Avery and her friend Liv thought it would be fun to go play in the water. Liv is ALMOST a year so she is just learning how to walk by herself. Avery was giving her "running lessons". They both had a great time and loved the water! We can't wait till Liv is up and moving with Avery. It was so good to see you both Liv and Mommy Sarah! Liv wondering "What the Heck IS This Stuff! Avery LOVED running through the water.
