Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Last week and this week we have been battling sickness in the house. The 24 hour virus went through each children one by one and now I have some kind of cold/flu. I am glad we are all getting better now. The best part of last week was a really cool email I got from church asking if everyone needed a bunk bed. Devin had a project at school to make a paper quilt timeline. I had no idea how to make one, so I looked online. So this is what we made. Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

Thursday, August 25, 2011. Devin's Cub Scout Pack Meeting. Wednesday night Devin had his Pack Meeting for all the stuff he did over the summer. Some days I feel like I am in it more than him, but I know I am planting a seed somewhere inside. Devin got many belt loops: Flag Football, Chess, BB Shooting (favorite), Hiking, and Map and Compass- all done at Day Camp over the summer. He has so many belt loops now, they will not fit on his belt, so I got him a display case to hang in his room. I love it :).

Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Pioneer Day and Summer Reading Program. Last Thursday was the last day for the Summer Reading Program here and they had some fun activities and puppet show. Way back around Memorial Day we started our summer off with a bang by heading to California to visit my parents in Modesto and Ephraim's brother and sister-in-law in Prunedale. (Another drive-24-hours-straight vacation brought to you by our marathon driver, Ephraim. I think he broke a new record by only stopping to sleep for 15 minutes in Wyoming). We loved seeing the giant sequoias at Calaveras Big Tree State Park. Griffin playing with cousins.

Sunday, November 04, 2012. Micro-Rams and Halloween Fun. Ezra's preschool group went to the coolest Pumpkin Patch we've ever been to. Ezra loved the sit and scoot things you ride on. Ezra and Griffin loved this little bus filled with corn (again, remember we're in Cornhusker land) where you could dig and bury yourself. Griffin gets more and more toddler-ish everyday. The world offers enough reality, here we deal in happy. We had a plan- a plan to move with Joe's job to Indiana- we were very excited by this plan. We love love love our church family there! We found lots of little farms that we could see ourselves living on and working for the rest our lives! That is how life always seems to go- just when you have a plan, it CHANGES.
