Hawai'i, Quilts, and Life: A new Idea
http://hawaiiquiltsandlife.blogspot.com/2010/02/note-to-self-i-just-saw-lady-of-lake.html
Hawai'i, Quilts, and Life. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Note to self: I just saw a Lady of the Lake quilt block on another blog. I have tons of half square triangles that are the result of waste triangles. So just how scrappy can I make a Lady of the Lake Quilt and still retain the pattern? Of course it would be a small quilt since most of these units are. 1 1/2 - 2 inches at most. Just what I need.Another project! September 28, 2011 at 10:17 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hawai'i, Quilts, and Life. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Well, I guess that I'm not really very good at this web blogging stuff! All the years that I was growing up, I journalized fastidiously .but then all I had to do was pull my notebook out of my backpack and write was was on my mind.at any given moment. It's so much harder to write when I can only do it when I am sitting in front of my PC. The thoughts just aren't there at my beck and call! I hope to post often of our adventures. I love snorkeling - i...

Hawai'i, Quilts, and Life. Wednesday, March 5, 2008. This is a beginning. I used to keep a journal in my earlier years but life happened. So maybe I can make an effort to start again. It may be shaky at first - some hesitancy - as a child taking his first steps, but with persistence, I hope to soon be running - freely and with full confidence! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://hawaiiquiltsandlife.blogspot.com/2012/03/liberated-quilters-rr.html
Hawai'i, Quilts, and Life. Friday, March 16, 2012. So I am still new to this blogging stuff, so bear with me! Our Round Robin tells us to start with a central block - so I took 4 blocks that I had sewn up for some unknown future project and decided to put them together for my center block.then we were told to liberate that center block. Here are the original 4 blocks:. So now I am wondering if I need to slash again on the other diagonal? What do you think? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
