This past Saturday myself and 25 other teachers, from Nakhon Si Thammarat and Surat Thani, went to Khanom (1.5 hrs North of NST) for a day at the beach with 100 orphans from Nakhon. They were mostly boys aged between about 5 and 16 and they were so lovely. It was a great day! My pal Katie (who was over from Sydney) and I shopped, beached, eat, danced and drank. Spectacular! The view from our bar stools. Katie and I, beach front bar stools.
