Write it down before you forget…. Asymp; Leave a comment. 8220;Well, I’ve been down so Goddamn long. That it looks like up to me.”. When you can’t sleep at night and you toss in bed and get anxious for no apparent reason, you then start to fear and to crumble into tiny little emotional pieces. Then starts the sweating and the so-known tachycardia, you fear that the “anxiety hell” is going to break loose and your heart is going to pop out of your chest. Whenever you can, look up and remember this tiny say:.

Baby bottles for education | D. M. Matsinhe

Baby bottles for education. December 18, 2013. The academic year comes to an end. With all the due dates piling up, students are under pressure. They played no part in that pressure. They didn’t see it coming. They couldn’t have. How could they? Stuff just happens to them. No agency. No will. It’s a pile of structure coming down and hard on them. Or are things left till the last minute? I mean, the papers, the reading, the preparation for the finals? Why bother with reading? What planet did I come from?

Write it down before you forget…. People don’t like me mamma. Asymp; Leave a comment. People don't like me. Well, to be honest, some of the jobs I had the pleasure to apply to have NOTHING to do with what I have studied in school or my experience. Jobs like fund raiser for the local symphony, or financial adviser, or even mortgage specialist are no good match for someone like me, you know, a dreamer, easy going individual. November 2, 2016. When Life Gives You Friends, You Make Memories :). Joia a deveni...

Today’s last thoughts… | The Stiff Corner

Write it down before you forget…. Today’s last thoughts…. Asymp; Leave a comment. Last day in my 20's. Note to self happy to be alive. Cardiothoracic x-ray, 21.03.2015. I knew it was going to be epic by the way I started the week. I got to spend my last day in my 20’s at the ER. If I had to describe this experience in a few words I would say it was almost enlightening. I got to know more about the medical institutions in Romania, about fears, diseases and other human interactions. Farewell 29, welcome 30!

“Speak!” Part One | Words under one roof

Words under one roof. Writing, editing, novelling and enjoying life. March 18, 2015. In Writing - the process. 8221; Part One. Dialogue and punctuation go together like bread and butter, cheese and toast, rhubarb and custard. It’s not just a matter of following the rules, though they’re important; it’s what you can do with different symbols to make your characters really speak. The reason for using dialogue is to wake up your story, and coincidentally break up chunks of text. If your characters’ word...

Dining Room Before & Afters. And when Phil returned, I was still on my home makeover high, so I convinced him to tackle our ugly fireplace for a fun date night activity. What can I say? The man loves me. Well, since I’m obviously excited about the changed we’ve been making in our home, I thought I’d share the progress we’ve made in our dining room, and then share my plans for the near future! Before we ever purchased it. With our old Ikea ones we’ve had since we were first married almost 7 years ag...

You decide to become a freelance writer so you can stay at home with your little one — and you envision yourself tapping at your keyboard and sipping java while your precious angel plays quietly with a set of blocks at your feet. Crunch time for South African publishing – Arthur Attwell
http://arthurattwell.com/2014/09/09/crunch-time-for-south-african-publishing
Tech, content, Africa enthusiast. Skip to primary content. Crunch time for South African publishing. It’s rare that a national industry is confronted with a single threat to its future. That just happened to South African publishing. A few days ago, the South African Department of Basic Education released a policy document, for public comment, that explains how the DBE would like to handle textbooks going forward. (If you’re in publishing, read it, here’s the PDF. Teachers would no longer choose the text...
