Friday, November 4, 2011. The reason to never forget. Early in 2010 we noticed that my grandfather was having trouble remembering things. There was an incident where he withdrew a sum of money from the bank and then completely forgot that he had done that, insisting instead that someone was stealing from him. We brushed it aside and attributed it to simple forgetfulness given his older age. We are calling this project Help Us Remember. Holiday cards, handmade with love :). We made over 200 holiday cards, uniquely designed and handcrafted with love. 100% of the proceeds for these cards will go to Alzheimer's Association. And Golden Heritage Assisted Living Facility. It's our hope that this money will help, even if it's only in a small way, to make the lives of these patients and their families a little better.
