Adding and Editing Content. How to use the Blog Feature. Apostrophe's blog feature is a flexible way to distribute content across your website. You can also use it for a simple, traditional blog. The blog has its own admin page where all the blog posts are organized. Blog posts can be categorized and tagged to live on different pages visible to your visitors. This is great if you need to create separate "blogs" for separate authors and themes. Steps to using the blog. 1 Create a new page. Select blog.

Adding and Editing Content. Adding a new page is easy! Navigate up to the global toolbar and click "Add Page." You'll get a drop down menu to help create your page. Add a title to your page, and select a template.The page will be added as a child page to which ever page you were on. You can drag your page to where you'd like it to be in the navigation, and begin adding content right away. For more information on reordering pages see Reorganizing Content. Categories and Tags

Adding and Editing Content. Categories and tags are tools to help you organize content on your website. Use for broad structural organization. Use for specific content organization. Blog posts, events and media can all have categories and tags assigned to them. Part of the permissions features in Apostrophe allows you to assign users to only be able to edit content for specific categories. Which will remove any tags not being used. Adding and Editing Content. The events feature of Apostrophe allows you to keep a calendar and archive of events on your website. Events work similarly to the blog feature. To use events, you must create a page somewhere on your site and select the "Events" page type from the "Page Type" dropdown. How to use Events. Create a new event page. Select events.
