This version includes changes to background processing for auto-expiry posts, including news, news updates, events and vacancies. Similar to the core WordPress method of scheduling future posts to be published, the theme now schedules future background auto-expiry processes for news, news updates, and closing events and vacancies. A clean-up process runs twice-daily to capture any missed or stalled cron jobs.
