River's Edge Ultra Running Series. 12km, 50km, 80km or 100km. Below are descriptions of our 6 different races. We have also included maps of the loops that comprise each of these races so you can take a look at what you will be facing. A map for each loop can be found under the menu item called “Courses.”. 1 The Magilla (100km solo):. You must run in consecutive order loop 1 twice , loop 2 twice, loop 4 once followed by loop 3 twice. Cut off to begin this final leg will be 6:30 PM. Its big and difficult!

River's Edge Ultra Running Series. 12km, 50km, 80km or 100km. End time for all races is 8:30 pm September 23, 2017. Sorry, but any runner not checked in on time will not be allowed to participate. All pre-race check-ins and bib handouts will be in the warming tent at the start/finish area. Runners starting any leg after 6 PM will be required to carry a working headlamp. It gets dark quickly after 7 pm. The race will start and finish at the same place which will be well marked once you reach the race site.

It would be great to have as many people stay with us at the race site for the entire weekend (camping is free of charge) as there is plenty of room for rv’s and tents etc. However, if this is not possible we suggest those needing accommodation to look at the south or west ends of the City of Edmonton or in the Town of Devon. River's Edge Ultra Running Series. 12km, 50km, 80km or 100km. 19 km (Leg 3 and 4):. This loop is one of the longest with numerous different running surfaces. The single track will literally have you bobbing and weaving up and down the trail. You’ll be rewarded with some amazing scenery and possibly some trail rash since you’ll be going OOOOO before you go Owwwww! You will get wet crossing the North Saskatchewan river to and from an island…you will go up and down…you will go through an old growth pine forest and cross a couple beaver dams.
