5 weeks post op! We have now been home just over 2 weeks! Time has gone so quickly! But what a busy two weeks it has been! I clicked my finger and she stepped …. Independently, then stepped again when I clicked my fingers, I kept clicking and she kept walking, I could feel the tears of happiness in my eyes, but couldn’t stop my concentration, we were getting close, I kept reassuring her she was doing this and doing it great, nearly there, just a few more steps! All on your own! LOL it helps to be crazy!

Day 19 post op! Another 6.30am start, so on with the gators and iPad for Georgie! And lots of other physio moves and fun to go with it! Mental note to put the ornaments away when we get home ha ha! Ella found sweets, something Barbie, along with some sparkly shoes! We also managed to talk The Entertainer toy shop into giving us a voucher for our helpgeorgie fundraiser at the odean on Sunday! Day 18 Post Op. Waking up in your own bed – the best feeling ever! A full 8 hours of sleep too! This has never happened in about 5 years due to having children! A small price to pay if it’s helping her stretch! Ella was up and into our bed for a snuggle, it was so lovely to be home and have instant Ella cuddles! Day 13 post op. It’s always very quiet on the ward at weekends! I’m not going to bore you with all the family craziness, but needless to say it was soo lovely to see Ella and Georgie playing happily with their family members without a care in the world, and you certainly would never guess Georgie was only two weeks post op!
