Jorge who is the namesake and inspiration of our organization had his hands and feet amputated when he was 14 months old due to a life threatening circulation infection. Proceeds from the Beefsteak have provided Jorge with new prosthetics and other quality of life aides. Prostheses need to be replaced frequently due to growth, body changes, and wear and tear.
