T he USDA and PalmettoPride will host the annual cleanup of the Francis Marion National Forest on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 8 am to noon. Volunteers are wanted to help clean up litter and illegal dumpsites spread throughout the forest’s 260,000 acres. Since 2003, more than 1,650 volunteers have removed approximately 216 tons of trash from the forest.
