Thursday, April 29, 2010. We have had 4 great days of hard work here! The people are absolutely wonderful! They are all so friendly-it is custom to greet everyone you walk by. I have enjoyed working alongside Dr. Rhodes in the OR and got my "legs" under me after the first day! Saturday, April 24, 2010. We made it to Nairobi today with 5 of 6 bags (1 is waiting at LAX for Bonnie)! TSA would not allow the air compressor on - only the most important tool. But even after prayer and discussion with TSA the answer was still "no" but they will hold it for us! So, let me back up a little and share some more details! Tuesday, April 20, 2010. I can't believe only one more day before we leave! I also can't believe I am sitting here typing this while Joel is vaccuuming and washing the floor! Tomorrow Bill is to take his "check ride" to get his instrument rating for his pilot's license, and then we can leave! Tools are packed, scrubs are ready, and travel size bottles are purchased!
