Savanah's Story: December 2011
http://savanahstory.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
A journey to hearing. . . Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Checking it twice. . . Savanah was so darling this year. She wrote a "list". A "zip back bow.". She was in serious mode. No one was to read the list. She could only read the list to Santa. We ventured down to Santa one cold evening. Admired the lights. . . And waited in line to see Santa. The magic was there with Savanah. I am so glad. Even at the age of 7 the magic is there. Savanah's been on the nice list. Posted by Sarah and Desmond. She is mainstr...

Savanah's Story: January 2012
http://savanahstory.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
A journey to hearing. . . Friday, January 27, 2012. Flows right on by. . . I never believed people when they said -. Before you know it, she'll be all grown up! Thought I would just post a little testament. To how true that statement really is. We just had Miss Savanah. Seems like just yesterday. We were worrying about whether or not she would ever be able to talk. Seems like just yesterday we listened to her babble. To her "uh, uh, uh. . .". And now here I have it. An almost 8 year old. So full of life.

Miles Meets World: February 2010
http://milesmeetsworld.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Just a little something to document life with my hard-of-hearing baby. Friday, February 12, 2010. Jeff is not one for big displays of romanticism so this really caught me off guard. But Jeff didn't need to do too much shmoozing and we were able to have dinner as a family. I barely controlled myself from becoming a crying mess as they sang a wonderful sweet love song. (Jeff asked me if I thought the girls did a nice job and, truly, I can't remember because I was just trying to keep it together.). Reading ...

Miles Meets World: WOW!
http://milesmeetsworld.blogspot.com/2013/11/wow.html
Just a little something to document life with my hard-of-hearing baby. Friday, November 1, 2013. I just found out that the story I put up on the last post is going to be published in a book called, Three Minus One. This book is a project that will hopefully help support and be a companion to a movie, "Return to Zero" about stillbirth and baby loss. Please look for both the movie and the book. I hope that it will open the conversation about pregnancy and infancy loss. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Buzz's Journey - to hearing and beyond: January 2011
http://buzzsjourney.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Buzz's Journey - to hearing and beyond. Landon's journey to the world of sound with cochlear implants. Monday, January 31, 2011. Where did January go? It seems like we were just celebrating Christmas and it's almost February. I'm still trying to figure out where 2010 went. The days sure fly by with 4 kids. The holidays are always a busy time for us, in the middle of all the Christmas activities we also have birthdays for 7 family members and our anniversary all crammed in the month of December.
