It began in the local church…. January 2012- Pastor Ron shares with FLC his heart on Korah and stresses the need to do something. June 2012- FLC partners with a ministry to sponsor children in Korah Ethiopia. July 2012- FLC sponsors over 200 children exceeding expectations. March 2013- A team from FLC travels to Ethiopia in order to capture the conditions in Korah, see the ministry in action, and consider ways to expand our efforts to save kids from the trash dump.

Korah was once a leper colony and today it is home. To some of the most impoverished people in Ethiopia’s capital. Korah was built around the city’s landfill and it has become, to some of it’s residents, their only resource. Life in the dump. From food to water and clothing. Anything can be found in the trash dump. Children work in the dump everyday to find what they need to survive. Help Korah seeks to rescue children out of the trash dump.
