Proving Chaos Theory: September 2012
http://richandjaime.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2012. Everything is New Again. In retrospect, we must have concluded that Brett's arrival in June was a yawner, and not enough to really get our blood pumping. Because the day after we brought her home from the hospital, we started down a path that really took our stress index to a new level. We moved on it with a level of speed and decisiveness that I think is rather uncharacteristic of us. While we had been through the home buying process before as a buyer we had never sold. We lo...

Proving Chaos Theory: Davis 4th Birthday Gets a Little Wild
http://richandjaime.blogspot.com/2013/04/davis-4th-birthday-gets-little-wild.html
Monday, April 15, 2013. Davis 4th Birthday Gets a Little Wild. Thanks to our friend Tracy for making this great video of Davis's birthday festivities. We were too busy running around serving cake, drying tears and keeping kids from killing each other to get many good pictures. And thanks a lot, Tracy, for including the flattering shot of me consuming my favorite beverage, a cold Henry Weinhard's Root Beer. I LOVE the video. What a fun day. We sure miss you guys! May 29, 2013 at 7:11 PM. Davis Bike Part II.

Proving Chaos Theory: October 2011
http://richandjaime.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. The Land of Cotton - Part II. The four oldest cousins had a great time sleeping in the bunk room together. And while they all had a great time playing together, some of the battles over toys were epic. Cousins all eating Moon Pies. Davis and Kate at the sand dunes. Sand dunes, anyone? The kids visiting monster truck Gravedigger's home base garage. The REAL Gravedigger (at least one of them). See you soon, Outer Banks. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Celebrating Country and Family.

Proving Chaos Theory: April 2011
http://richandjaime.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 30, 2011. Goodbye ugly fireplace, hello audiovisual experience. Its finally time to say goodbye to the ugly, strangely placed fireplace in the family room. I've been wanting to take a sledgehammer and chisel to it since we moved in. This week that day finally arrived. On Thursday we got the fireplace demo'ed, the fireplace insert covered, the window seat drawer boxes in place and the initial electrical and A/V wiring run. I dig deep drawers (and alliteration). Saturday, April 16, 2011.

Proving Chaos Theory: December 2013
http://richandjaime.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The title of this post could refer to a lot of things at this time of year. Most importantly, it refers to the miracle of that original Christmas. With appropriate deference to that fact, there are a few other miracles that occurred around the Benson house this holiday season. Our home survived the Progressive Dinner (and Hurricane Brett). I survived "O Holy Night.". Piece But almost more than any other piece I've sung, everyone. Of a real gas guzzler. So to assuage that p...

Proving Chaos Theory: Memorial Day
http://richandjaime.blogspot.com/2013/05/memorial-day.html
Monday, May 27, 2013. We began the day at a flag ceremony sponsored by the local American Legion post. Afterward I took Kate and Davis to meet some of the veterans who were in attendance so they could shake their hands and thank them for their service. I'm not sure the kids really knew what any of it meant, but the veterans seemed appreciative. I always tear up at these things, and today was no exception. Davis and Pop Pop. Brett Takes a Dip. Kate calls this "The Starfish".

Sunday, June 2, 2013. Aerospace Engineering, Anyone? In this video message to Grandma and Grandpa Benson, Davis combines two things he enjoys (folding things up and throwing things) into one hobby:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We've switched our blog name from "Adventures in Babyraising" to the somewhat more descriptive "Proving Chaos Theory". We cannot, however, promise any improvements in the writing. Aerospace Engineering, Anyone?
