Thursday, June 23, 2011. We hiked the Y mountain yesterday. It's a 2.4 mile hike, elevation 980 feet. Translated that means: quite a difficult hike (for some). We went with our cousin friend, Tristan and our friends the Sandersons. I decided to hike with Carter to offer encouragement and support, to stay with him if he couldn't keep up with the group, to turn back early if it became too difficult. Wouldn't you know it,. I couldn't keep up with him! He reached the top of the mountain first. I made. it.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010. What It's Like Around Here. Usually I'm one of those moms. Meal If you don't like it, you're on your own. Eat it or else. Until now. Carter's tummy hurts from his meds and he has a hard time eating, especially breakfast. The other day we began with yogurt and granola, no go. Next it was. More were requested (sunny side up). Yay, he ate! Am I a saint, or what? Carter doing his own stretches. Recovering from the stretches. Let's recap physical therapy, shall we? Ty and Juju Brown.
