Yam is a 12-year old boy with Dystonia and his family has the tremendous burden of paying for his medical expenses – that even with insurance – are insurmountable. This is not a charity, but an emergency medical fund to help pay for Yam’s medical expenses. This is a labor of love for me because Yam is the son of my best friend, Debi Cohen. When we started Help One Now, we had the not so simple goal to build a nonprofit that would be involved in solving some of the world’s greatest problems.
