I made my first distance goal tonight! I ran 5 Kilometers (3.1 miles) without stopping! It took me 36:24, but i did it. This was a tough course I laid out. Invested in a very good pair of running shoes! Bought the New Balance 1062, ran in them 3 miles and the strap on the side broke! I was shocked so I called the store and they threw a pair in the mail to me. I sent the old ones back. How's that for customer service? June 14th - Run By the River 5K, Russell, KY. Keeping Track of Time Spent Running, NOT Distance Traveled. Where your body quits primarily burning Carbs. And starts burning more fats. That point in your run is somewhere in the middle 20's.
