I recently traveled to Ashford to document the trial harvest of the first hemp seed crop grown at Ponda Farm by Connie and Lonnie Minos. This short video clip explains the processes and materials Klara uses to build with hemp. This video was shot during the set-up for a workshop at Starseed nursery in September 2010. Monday, 10 October 2011. Building with hemp has started at Mountain Top. Over the weekend a hemp building workshop was hosted by Aunty Liz at Mountaintop, Northern NSW. Wednesday, 5 October 2011. Building at Mountain Top. We are constructing a small hemp cabin which will be the first building of an Aboriginal Cultural Field Study Center at Mountaintop, Northern NSW. Aunty Liz working on site at Mountain Top. The weather has been wild this week, with the rain making it hard to get the site ready for this weekend's hemp building workshop. We will start to build the hemp walls in the workshop this weekend, with others adding to them in the following series of workshops.

The next film shoot needed for the documentary will take place near Nimbin in Northern NSW on the 1st and 2nd October. Klara will be holding a hemp building workshop, which will allow me to get footage of a good quality hemp mix being made, and a structure being built.
