The First Ladies' Luncheon, a tablescape-themed event, began in 2013 and is hosted each year by Anita Kay Archer and the United Way Women's Leadership Council. After turning people away in the event's inaugural year, the council moved the First Ladies' Luncheon to the Jackson Fairgrounds, which now hosts more than 500 guests each year.
