The Vraciu Family: May 2012
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Miller's Fresh New Do. Things started innocently enough. My angel-baby looked raggedy and needed his first official hair cut. Look at that little mop of white hair! He started off brave.enjoying all that the overpriced kids salon had to offer. Cool firetruck that made a few noises.a movie on his own personal TV, which I'm not sure he ever even glanced at. But I was thinking we were on the right track. Then he realized some random stranger was messing with his head. It wasn't as enjoyable as he thought.

The Vraciu Family: March 2012
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Oh how I have longed to see this day. I didn't do all that much with ballet growing up, but my sweet Tutti Frutti in a tutu is something that I've been dieing to see, for some reason. Probably because it is ridiculously cute. Emma has been in ballet for a few weeks now and she absolutely LOVES it! This obsession falls right in line with her love of princesses so I suppose we should've expected it. What a precious little ballerina. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Highlands Ranch, CO. The Vraciu Family: August 2011
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Mom came to visit and we took the kids to the Denver Firefighters Museum one morning when we were getting stir crazy. I have to say it was really cool! It was an old fire station that's been converted into a museum. Lots of interesting history, but the best part was the hands-on kids section. They had a real fire truck and all the gear for kids to play with. Ryan could have stayed there for hours and hours. Chief Ryan reporting for duty! Even Miller got into the action. The doc encouraged us to add cerea...

The Vraciu Family: Pumpkin Pickin'
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2013/02/pupmkin-pickin.html
We took the kids to a beautiful pumpkin patch a week before Halloween. The Bradley family met us there and the kids had fun with the usual pumpkin patch fare. The climbed hay bails. Even sweet Miller got on top! They had the coolest mix of trampoline and bounce house. I've never seen this contraption before, but it was a lot of fun. Paul and I were wishing they had "adult jump" so we could play too, but we decided it would be best NOT to trample small children so we sat back and watched.

The Vraciu Family: July 2012
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Look at these precious little dudes. Ryan and his best buds, Ben and Cole (far right) all attended their Kindergarten orientation together mid-May. Of course their little brother sidekicks attended too. Miller was SO excited to be part of the group - look at the edible look on his face. I seriously could eat him up. About five minutes later Becky looks over at me and dies laughing quietly. What's the deal? And the teachers showed before and after photos of the kids on the first day of school and again to...

The Vraciu Family: Let the Halloween'ing Begin
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2013/02/let-halloweening-begin.html
Let the Halloween'ing Begin. Gigi and Bopa helped to get the Halloween season started off with a bang. Ryan, Emma and Miller received a special delivery from their grandparents. In addition to the coveted candy, Emma got a witch's hat, Ryan got a ghost to hang in his room and Miller-Bear got a little pumpkin to hang in his room. You can tell they were so excited! Thank you, Gigi and Bopa, for thinking of us! Your gifts were a big hit! This entry was posted on 10:15 PM and is filed under Emma.

The Vraciu Family: Estes Park Weekend
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2013/02/estes-park-weekend.html
The Fall turned out to be quite busy. We were able to spend a long weekend in the mountains in Estes Park with two good family friends, the Paquettes and the Bradely's. We stuffed 3 families (6 adults, 8 kids and 1 dog) into a 4 bedroom cabin and, while we had our challenges (Miller had to sleep in a closet! It was such a fun weekend. Each night, we did a group bedtime story - and the kids piled into one bed to listen. It was super cute. And the elk were HUGE and everywhere. Not only did we see group...

The Vraciu Family: January 2013
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
At dinner each night, Ryan or Emma will say a blessing before we eat. Precious Miller adores - I mean ADORES his big brother and sister. So he watches.studies.then tries to follow their lead. . I finally captured him folding his hands to say his prayers before dinner (just like Ry and Em). At the end he always shouts out a big "Aaah-Meeeh" which is his "Amen." The whole family waits for it.and it always makes us smile. Is there any possible way this precious angels prayers would not be answered? We took...

The Vraciu Family: Sassy Soccer Sista
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2013/02/sassy-soccer-sista.html
Emma was finally old enough (in Sept 2012) to join her first sports team. She chose to play soccer with her buddy Will, which was nice for Paul and I since we are such good friends with Willy-boo's parents :). It all started wonderfully. Emma was engaged and ready to dominate. But by the end, she was a tad bored and realized it was much quicker to reach the goal if she just picked up the ball and ran with it in her hands. The Vraciu Family: Elmo All Night Long
http://vraciufamily.blogspot.com/2013/02/elmo-all-night-long.html
Elmo All Night Long. Miller has a new found fascination with all things Elmo these days. In addition, he has become very particular about the clothes he wears. He prefers to have an animal or monster on his shirt, and he always wants to make sure he has shoes on. It is quite frequent that he cries to wear the same shirt to school, bed, then keep it on the next day. I force myself to go a day or 2 like this, but it takes a lot. Eventually, I make him change shirts. Sweet dreams, precious Miller-Bear.
