Kerr Family: December 2011
http://kerrfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Life at the Kerr House. Saturday, December 31, 2011. What God can do. I found this web site and it so touch me. I loved hearing how God used this young man to encourage his parents to go on this mission trip and in turn touch the lives of who knows how many children with special needs. I can't wait to see how God is going to use Landon as the years pass. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My precious little guy. My precious little guy. What God can do. Kerr Family: February 2011
http://kerrfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Life at the Kerr House. Thursday, February 24, 2011. It's been a while. I hate that I have not blogged in such a long time but that's just how life is at the Kerr house. I do have some really fun pictures that I thought I would share. First, Landon went to his first swim class, well O.K. it was just his evaluation but still he was in the water doing things with someone other than me! Landon had a great time playing both inside and outside with his Granny and Papaw. Labels: down syndrome. swimming.

Our No-Longer-Empty Chair!: September 2010
http://ouremptychair.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Full chair. Full hearts. Monday, September 27, 2010. Check out this blog. I have come across one of the most incredible blog families thus far. They have been on an incredible journey to adopt their six-year-old twins from Ethiopia. I have enjoyed hearing about all the kids' "firsts" - like sitting at a dinner table, wearing tennis shoes, running (clean) water, light switches, soda, etc. Can you imagine? I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I can't get enough of it! Looking forward to seeing you there!

a chinky, kinky blog: September 2011
http://chinkykinky.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A chinky, kinky blog. I haven't had much luck finding blogs from other mixed race people documenting their journey to locdom, so I figured I'd put myself out there for anyone else's benefit. It's also a forum for opinions on what's happening on (and sometimes in) my head. Keep up with my journey- my hair and my life. There will be random musings as well, as things inspire me. What it's all about. Charlotte, NC, United States. View my complete profile. Thursday, September 15, 2011. I will let you all know...

Bloom Where You Are Planted: Swapping Seats
http://missjanies.blogspot.com/2010/07/swapping-seats.html
Bloom Where You Are Planted. I will sing for joy in God, explode in praise from deep in my soul! He dressed me up in a suit of salvation, he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo and a bride a jeweled tiara. For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers, and as a garden cascades with blossoms,So the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom and puts praise on display before the nations. Isaiah 61:8-11. Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Our society is much the sam...

Kerr Family: Social Stories
http://kerrfamilyupdate.blogspot.com/2011/04/social-stories.html
Life at the Kerr House. Tuesday, April 5, 2011. The two areas that have been VERY difficult have been during speech therapy and swim lessons. After a little research I decided to try the idea of creating a social story. Down syndrome. swimming. That sounds like such a good idea! Each thing is a finger and it helps her to look past the one or two things shes resistent on because she can anticipate exactly whats coming next in her routine. She loves it - after she knows the order of events, she runs to...
