We dont just blast metal we also have experience of blasting wood, stone, plastic, glass, concrete, fibreglass etc. for asthetic reasons or for specific surface effects. Blasting wood can give a 'drift-wood' appearence, 'age' new timber or reduce staining on wooden beams. With careful blasting it is possible to remove wax or flaking varnish from hard woods like oak, or bark from burr-elm.
