Lacey just got contacts and I'm reliving the wonder that I had with my first time seeing the world. So far, she has noticed the texture on the walls, the holes on the air vents, the sparkle in the paint on the car, the stitching on the leather of the car seats, the pebble texture of the concrete, bark dust and so on. You never know what you are missing, contacts are amazing!

She was sure there was a shampoo-out hair dye. I didn't think there was and sure enough all of the neon color hair dyes are semi-permanent. But, they do have this fun product that is basically a hairspray and it comes in bright neon colors. There wasn't any purple so blue had to do. Take Me Out to the Ballgame.

Every child is gifted, they just unwrap their packages at different times. Unknown. Monday, March 5, 2012. Seth participated in the 2012 Winter Games this last weekend. The first game was incredibly close and the kids played their hearts out. Unfortunately, we lost by 1 point in the last 15 seconds. : ( The second game did not go our way either. Our team took 4th place and we are very proud that they made it to State and even though we lost we enjoyed ourselves and the experience. Grover and Goni Laseke.

Lacey, along with some other 5th graders, received the President's Outstanding Academic Achievement Certificate. She received a number of other certificates too which you can see spelled out in her letter, but the one she was the most proud of was this one signed by the President.
