~xiaoyee~: The value of reading Canterbury Tales
http://xiaoyiwang.blogspot.com/2008/10/value-of-reading-canterbury-tales.html
Saturday, October 25, 2008. The value of reading Canterbury Tales. The Canterbury Tales was written in the middle age. And it has many old words in it. I don't understand well when I read it alone. But when I read the Canterbury Tales in class with group, we understand it and explain it together. This way helps me a lot. And kind of apartness. It makes me feel that we should thank for the life we have now. 9542;→xiaoyee↘. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mr Dye's Socratic Seminar. Story but true- conn...

They hated each other although nobody knew the reason. To show their hatred, a fence had separated the two families’ yards for years. One day, the wind blew a seed into Meng. 8217;s yard. Mr Meng. Saw it, but said nothing, until one day that plant bore a huge gourd in Jiang. 8221; Mr Jiang. Said to himself, and Mr Meng.

~xiaoyee~: something about Taiwan
http://xiaoyiwang.blogspot.com/2008/10/something-about-taiwan.html
Saturday, October 4, 2008. I’m sad to know that most American don’t know Taiwan is a part of China, which should be a general knowledge in this world, though Mr Bush always "believes" that. Had been brought to Taiwan since Old Stone Age. Then, at the Yuan dynasty, the Chinese government was established. In Taiwan. So more and more Chinese from main land China moved to Taiwan province and share experience with original inhabitants. Ceding Taiwan to Japan. 8221;, which means enslaving education. Chinese (T...

Thursday, October 23, 2008. Pardoner vs the Wife of Bath. However I can't help feeling more inclined toward the wife of bath. This is mostly due to the Pardoner's taking of money from very poor individuals. I pretty much wanted to hit the man when he was talking about taking money away from starving widows families. So the wife won on the count that at least she was not taking survival money from less fortunate families. Him to see it if he does. Way The wife of bath wins and takes the gold! However neit...

Wednesday, November 5, 2008. From socratic seminar to real life. I want to be an author. From what I've read getting published is extremely difficult; and even then you don't make enough money off of one book to support yourself. So I will need to learn to read my own stuff without giving up and/or throwing the computer at the wall. Seeing from different points of view. Is what authors do. That's. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
