Friday, July 18, 2014. I have been gifted. Who have amazing talents. What i wouldn't give to lay here. In a lovely summer dress. My mike unmoving by my side. Softly in the distance. Only the sound of the rustling leaves. To calm my thoughts. And still my restlessness. 8220;My life feels like a book left out on the porch, and the wind blows the pages faster and faster, turning always toward a new chapter faster than I can stop to read it.”. Nancy E. Turner. These Is My Words. School begins on Monday.

Perfectly Splendid: a portrait
http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/10/a-portrait.html
Thursday, October 2, 2014. Before David ventured into the realm of surgical happenings. I contacted an old friend. Seriously. his fashion stuff and senior portraits are amazing! Asking if he'd suffer the 115 degree heat. To possibly take our family photos. Before our stay @. Le suite de hospital. Agreed to lose 20 lbs of water weight. While we drenched ourselves in our own presperation. Just in. case. Til about 10 minutes to go. Is the right after:. I suppose only we would know. Only time will tell.

Perfectly Splendid: Some days are better than others
http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/08/some-days-are-better-than-others.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Some days are better than others. I thought I couldn't go on. Our stay has been exceptional - my guy has had tremendous care. We got "that" nurse. The one that started out average. Anxiously packed us up to ship us out. Where we were immediately bombarded. We had a revolving door of residents Doctors. Students. Nurses. As the last group of 3 talked over each other . Or so it seemed . I almost broke down. I won't go into details of what was going on. In my darkest moment. Where m...

http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/08/this-was-long-weekend.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. This was a long weekend. Friday was the resection surgery. I sat on the rooftop garden on the cool 76 degree Phoenix summer day - - it is never that cool in Arizona during the month of August. I had posted on Friday what the day was like however I hid it from viewers. It's too much right now. Maybe I'll put it back on the blog as the days become easier but for now my entire being is in a state of numbness. My Mike: 1:15 am. My Mike: Re. 1:15 am. I stayed with the remaining part o...

Perfectly Splendid: mid life crisis ---> full swing
http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/10/mid-life-crisis-full-swing.html
Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Mid life crisis - - full swing. It could be that i am. Stuck @ home most of the time. In a lull. not in school. In a lull. not working. Doing mommy day care for my eldest who is still in recovery mode. Getting chubbier BY THE SECOND. ( peanut m&m's - you've become my nemesis). Life in general is @ a stand still. And i might possibly be pms-ing. Or it could be the lull in life. Or it could be my utter mental disability. The nada in my slight existence @ this moment in time. Those...

Perfectly Splendid: home
http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/08/home.html
Sunday, August 31, 2014. The plan in the beginning was:. Tuesday 19 - invasive probe/grid surgery. Tuesday 26 - removal of the epileptic portion of the brain surgery. Go home 2 days later. David stayed in the ICU longer than they expected because of complications from the first surgery. However because he had so many seizures giving them the evidence they needed, the surgeon moved his surgery up to the 22nd (Friday). That was a blessing of huge proportions. And that in itself is a great blessing. I feel ...

http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/06/sunday-i-may-have-had-bit-of-panic.html
Thursday, June 5, 2014. Sunday i may have had a bit of a panic episode. We would be heading back to the hospital. For an unknown amount of time. Not more than a week. Not less than 2 days. Memories of spending most my life. With this guy came flooding back. Remembering the prison walls that held us close. This time hasn't been too bad. Much easier than chasing around a toddler. Pulling around a pole taller than I. With hanging bags of poisonous meds. Leaking into his body. Cemented to his scalp. David pe...

Perfectly Splendid: & on to the next thing
http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/06/on-to-next-thing.html
Monday, June 9, 2014. On to the next thing. You can learn to use faith more effectively by applying this principle taught by Moroni: “Faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the. Trial of your faith. Thus, every time you. Try your faith,. Richard G. Scott. 20 years ago we were playing with a fussy baby. Ignorant of the pending future awaiting us. Extremely naive - -. Perfectly Splendid: 3 easy thing
http://perfectlysplendid.blogspot.com/2014/08/3-easy-thing.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. 1 Last night was a replay of David's first year of life - - night and days flip flopped. 2 IV pain meds rock - - I'd totally not over use them if they would send some home with us. Just to get out of here! 3 They just gave Dave 3 things he has to be able to conquer before he can go home. They seriously just told me that. We've got some work ahead of us.
