Sunday, September 30, 2007. Henry had a very big day Saturday, as we went to get his first haircut. I have to admit - it was very hard to see those sweet, blonde curls disappear (see first picture), but he is quite the clean cut little boy now. We had a great time playing with bubbles and eating animal crackers while they cut away. Henry was a very big boy - did not shed a tear! Wednesday, September 26, 2007. I wore my lucky Virginia shirt . . . and it must have worked! Virginia beat the Tarheels, 22-20!

All of his efforts paid off because he did a wonderful job singing in the church Christmas pageant this Saturday. Even if he doesn't end up inheriting the lovely singing pipes of his grandparents/aunts/uncles, we are so proud of him for standing up in front of a large group of people and having fun singing! Saturday, December 5, 2009. We spent several days at Poppy and Car Car's house in Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday and were so blessed to spend valuable time with many family members and friends. The California Eschens even came in for a few days, it was so wonderful to see them! We did most of our usual activities there, a visit to the Homossassa Wildlife Park and lots and lots of football, eating, and playing outside. Harrison and Avery love the Wildlife Park! Saturday, August 15, 2009. Are you asking yourself, you mean, besides choo choos? Yes, we have new obsessions! Avery actually is in love with all animals, but she calls them all doggies. She can say "kitty," "duckie," and "bird" so she'll call those by their right names, but every other animal is a doggie, whether it's a horse, sheep, elephant, monkey, pig, or alligator. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. We had a fun, family-filled 4th of July weekend! We saw Toy Story 3 (my 1st movie in a theater! Spent an afternoon at the pool, enjoyed food and fun with great friends and saw fireworks! Happy 4th of July! Saturday night we headed to Norcross for a bbq/party with the Cox family.as usual, Jackson and I worked up a sweat running around and loved the trampoline! Never a dull moment with these two! Daddy joined in on the fun! It's a bird, it's a plane. It's W Man and J Man!

Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Christmas morning finally came and, wow, was it great! Santa found our house and brought some great loot! First, there was "the jeep" I asked for - a Big Wheels Pick-Up Truck just like Poppy's! I climbed right in to make sure it was a good fit! Santa ate most of our cookies and Rudolph at our carrots! We were out of milk (oops! But Santa seemed to love the applesauce squeezer all the same! I spent most of the morning outside cruising in my new ride! What a great day!
