Dave goes places: Singapore, lah
http://yesdave.blogspot.com/2007/02/singapore-lah.html
Sunday, February 25, 2007. So i'm 2 weeks behind in this blog already, no matter to me. does it matter to you? One of the few readers of this blog - anonymous jerk, and i'm assuming the other reader is my mum - seems to think its due to laziness. i could make excuses that the internet and computers here in Vietnam are really crap, which is true. or that i'm having too much fun to want to sit here and type out stuff, which is also true. but i think anon jerk is correct. March 1, 2007 at 2:48 AM. Did you s...

Dave goes places: Welcome perverts!
http://yesdave.blogspot.com/2007/05/welcome-perverts_148.html
Wednesday, May 9, 2007. So its been another few weeks. i'm getting quite lazy. I've been on a farm in the middle of basically nowhere for the last week in Germany, plenty of free time but little motivation to write here. Still got another few days at least here, so maybe i'll write a proper entry later about what i've been upto. Want to write now about something else. So that's not quite true, there are more regular readers than i would've expected, i guess people do get quite bored at work!

I was expecting to have to leave it there for 2 weeks so i was quite happy to get it back so quickly. It only cost about $115 too so it wasn't too bad, and hopefully my travel insurance will cover it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Malaysia in 2 minutes. Happy Xmas, from Bangkok. Camera fixed, pics soon! The Islands: Ko Tao, Ko Phan-gan, Ko Samui. Ho Chi Minh City.

Dave goes places: A spoonful of puppy + evil vegetarians
http://yesdave.blogspot.com/2007/03/spoonful-of-puppy-evil-vegetarians.html
Thursday, March 8, 2007. A spoonful of puppy evil vegetarians. A few days later on Halong Bay same vegetarian told the tour guide she was, as did a few others. One of the others was this old american dragonlady who scowled at everything, and for some reason she assumed i was a vegetarian too as later in the day when i lit a cigarette (note: must do post on cigarettes later) she frowned at me and said "How can you be vegetarian AND a smoker? Me: "um. im not a vegetarian.". She then lunges in for a kiss.

Dave goes places: Laos
http://yesdave.blogspot.com/2007/02/laos.html
Tuesday, February 6, 2007. 10 days and i was in and out of Laos, and am back in Bangkok (4th time) before flying to Singapore in a couple of days. The little i saw in 10 days was beautiful. its like a smaller, quieter version of Thailand. but comparing them is unfair to both countries. There is so much that i missed out on because travelling through the country is so slow, so this is definately somewhere i'm going to come back and explore properly later. I spent 4 days in Luang Prabang which is a really ...

Well my time in Thailand is up. 8 weeks and i feel like i rushed so much. i'm currently working out how i can come back for just a couple more weeks before i head over to Europe (3rd april). I'm still new to this whole blog thing, and im not sure if i've written too little or too much. So i'll finish the thailand section with a list of things i'll remember most, in no particular order:. My guesthouse operator on Ko Phangan who had terrible english&...
