Tuesday, June 04, 2013. A couple of weeks ago we decided to buy some more flowers and plant them in our yard to add more a little more color. It didn't seem like we bought that much but we planted 41 plants! Billy dug the holes while Bailey and I put in the plants. And the boys just played. I love our yard now. My biggest challenge will be to keep in watered until it takes root and can go on it's own but so far so good! We planted some more lantana, ice plant, vinca and a few other things. Fun stuff to do.

Sunday, April 19, 2015. The other week we decided to go hiking and have some fun. It was a rare Saturday when we didn't have soccer because of spring break so we went for it! We haven't been really hikers but as the kids get older it is easier to do. Not as much whining from them like, "my feet hurt" "how much further" "are we almost there" you know comments like that that make it SO much fun for the parents! We are for the most part past this and we can all enjoy the hike. Thank goodness! Fun stuff to do.

Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Billy and I had the chance to go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico over Mother's Day weekend and it was wonderful! I think it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever been on. The only thing we did was sleep (I mean sleep a lot! Thursday, May 16, 2013. Now, I am not a gardner and I have no idea what I am doing. I tried to look for things that said "full sun" and didn't need much watering or attention. Oh and I looked for the word perennial! So I got a few lantana cause I think they grow pretty well and some other things that I can't remember but I just thought they were pretty. So here is to hopefully a colorful yard! They are almost ready to bloom. These are some flowers that I got right before Easter and they are still living!

Tuesday, September 30, 2014. This year homework seems to be overwhelming for Bailey and Jesse or maybe just for me. But the first week I thought I would go crazy trying to help Jesse get his done (which is difficult when he will not sit still! Double check Bailey's homework (she can pretty much do it on her own but just needs me to check it) and then keep Jack occupied (which I did not do very well), oh and get dinner on the table at the same time. I have no idea how working moms or single moms do it.

Tuesday, December 09, 2014. Jesse celebrated his 7th birthday on October 28. Again, hard to believe he is 7! He wanted to play putt putt for his birthday so we took him and a few friends to play a couple of rounds and then for cupcakes. It was funny to watch some of them play. Jesse even got a hole in one! Monday, August 11, 2014. 3rd Grade and 1st Grade. Last week we started school. Summers have never been so short. When I was a kid they seemed to last forever but as an adult who hates waking up at 6am they fly bye. I guess that's a sign I'm getting old(er). I can't complain too much cause I do like our schedule of being off every six weeks. Momma needs that break! Anyway, hard to believe Bailey is in the 3rd grade and Jesse started 1st. Wow. And next year Jack will be joining them! Waiting on the bus.

Wednesday, June 04, 2014. My First DIY Project. I was so proud of myself! My next project is painting some picture frames! Bailey and Jesse both had field day a few weeks ago. This is not the field day I use to have as a kid. We would do 100yd dash, tug of war, sack race and stuff like that. At our school it is totally different.
