Friday, 12 October 2012. London for 8 Days. Our Eurostar train with wire holding on the front bumper after we hit a roe deer at pace in north western France. The arrivals board in London, we were on the train which "hit an animal in France". Waiting at North Finchley station headed for the city for the day. We started at the science museum where we were intrigued by the space exhibits initially. Later we found some great models. A pretty underground station. Telephone booths behind Trafalgar Square.

Saturday, 4 February 2012. Today we walked to the canal near the hotel and then walked beside the canal to the Science Museum where we spent many hours playing and learning. Canal boat on the canal. As we walked to the science museum we found some local vegetable and fruit markets. Friday, 27 May 2011. We left our campsite after a leisurely start to the morning and drove northwest towards Stirling. We made a longish detour so that we could drive over the Forth Bridge and see the rail bridge which is so famous. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic and so to get an unencumbered view especially while driving was impossible. We could have stopped at a parking bay a few hundred yards down the road and walked back but decided to press on. The area today, looking towards Bannock Burn.

Monday, 31 October 2011. This afternoon we headed into Granada lateish, we went to the Science Museum. In hindsight we didn't leave enough time for such a big and interesting place, but we didn't realise that at the time. Our first stop was just in the courtyard where we stopped to pose with Einstein as pictured below. In the room of mirrors. Part of the modern building which houses the exhibitions.
