Monday, October 11, 2010. ICSB 2010 is running! Since yesterday, the 11th International Conference on Systems Biology has started in great Edinburgh. The colleagues in Scotland seem to have done a great job in organizing this predecessor to the ICSB 2011 attracting over 1000 delegates to the Edinburgh International Conference Center. The evening was closed by a welcome reception with the sounds of Scottish bagpipes. Today the massive program of plenary and parallel session has started.

After the official start at 3pm, we have witnessed already a number of great talks at ICSB 2011 in Mannheim (which was denominated a suburb of Heidelberg for the time of the conference ;-) ). Now everybody is enjoying the welcome reception, tomorrow ICSB will start again at 8:30am (remember to set your alarm clock).
