Householder Family: August 2012
http://trishaandtravishouseholder.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 17, 2012. This was the last week before Travis started school so we tried to fit a lot of fun things into our agenda. We were able to head over to the North Shore of Long Island and let me just tell you.it is GORGEOUS! The houses are beautiful, I felt like we were in a movie driving along the roads. This is Teddy Roosevelt's home. It is a 23 bedroom mansion that was purchased for $17,000 in 1885. But the outside was awesome too. This is the front (that's Taisley roaming free). We have neve...

Householder Family: April 2013
http://trishaandtravishouseholder.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 11, 2013. Easter was fun this year with Taisley. She can say "egg" and had a blast finding eggs to put in her basket. Our ward had a little Easter party the day before Easter and she ate more chocolate that one night than she has her whole life. She now thinks that whenever you open an egg there will always be a candy surprise inside. We hid some eggs in the front yard on Easter morning and she was so excited to go find them. She loves playing with the magnets on the fridge! This is when ...

Me and My Family Tree: Pouring
http://kd-meandmyfamilytree.blogspot.com/2009/04/pouring.html
Me and My Family Tree. Sunday, April 26, 2009. As Kayla would say "It is POURING" even a little sprinkle is described this way. It's a little gloomy outside and all our lights are on. (So much for our attempts to conserve energy.) They're not on because we can't see; they are on because Kayla is TERRIFIED. We came home from church today to a HUGE, I'm not exaggerating, spider climbing up our back curtains, I was afraid to kill it. Jordon did offer to rescue me, but it was too late I h ad. Marian- I know ...

Welcome to the South Side: a quick little trip away.
http://tawniesouth.blogspot.com/2012/01/quick-little-trip-away.html
Welcome to the South Side. Thursday, January 5, 2012. A quick little trip away. Daddy says " I want to go to Disneyland ". Kids freak out! We throw the luggage in and drive off! It was nice having the six of us, better for the rides any way. Tyler could pretty much go on everything, I did stuff his shoes with foam so there would be no question about his height. We were harassed one time but that's because the guy was a dirt bag and I wasn't in line with the kids. Seriously, how fun is that? I am official...

Welcome to the South Side. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Was awarded the Soaring Eagle award along with several other kids. He though he was so super cool. The medal has his name on it. He is so proud just like his Daddy to have it hanging on his wall in his room just like his Dad has all of his medals hanging in his room. He still hasn't stopped. He makes us so proud! My Mom, Ty and I went and had lunch with Madison for her Principal's. Pride She was awarded the certificate for Outstanding. A taste of Zion.

Householder Family: June 2013
http://trishaandtravishouseholder.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 10, 2013. She is climbing on everything these days. She is a little monkey. She climbs onto the toilet tank to look for the neighbors dog and to look for "buppies" aka bunnies. There are cute little bunny rabbits that hop around the yard every now and again. The little boy downstairs turned 4 and had quite the birthday party. Taisley had such a blast! They rented a bouncy house in the backyard and she stayed in there for about 3 hours! The summer humidity has begun. You can tell when it'...

Five Backpacks: June 2015
http://loveslaughsandlavender.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 15, 2015. So when I said I was dedicating the first week of June to "Japan Week", what I really meant was the third week of June. Ha! I am finally ready to jump right in though, and am kicking Japan Week off with our once in a lifetime experience of taking Karate in Japan! I had also been looking for something special that Porter and I could do together, to have be "our thing"; so with the encouragement of a good friend I decided to do it along with Porter! It was a fantastic workout, and ex...
