Question about medication (methylphenidate). I'm a 30 year old woman who has just been diagnosed with ADHD a couple of months ago and I need to make a decision as to whether I want to go on medication or not. The main medication offered in New Zealand is methylphenidate (ritalin) and I'm curious as to people's experiences who have been on it. What aspects of ADHD did you find it helped with? Apr 3rd, 2007. Home again, home again. Just wanted to keep everyone in touch what the pulse of what's going on. :). There was a post posted earlier tonight that disabled comments. This is a community, all posts should have comments enabled. Otherwise, you defeat the purpose of a community! I'll be updating the rules over the next few days to spell this out more adequately. I've been late to work a few times lately. Deciding what to wear to work can be a big problem. How do you all handle this one? I'm reorganizing my closet and am looking for tips. Apr 18th, 2010. We've all been there. We're there now. At least I am. I was diagnosed with ADHD innatentive type or whatever it's called (ADD) when I was 7, and now I'm 15. And it's a sunday night. And I'm sick, and I've got a headache, and I'm TIRED. And I've got homework. A whole shitload (pardon my french) of homework. All due in exactly 13 hours and ten minutes.
