Pumanque – Community Center. The Scarcity and Creativity in Latitude 34s Studio designed and constructed a new community centre for the town of Pumanque in Chile, which was devastated by the 27 February 2010 earthquake that damaged most of the town’s buildings. The project features an envelope articulated as a timber screenwall, two multi-purpose rooms, a roof terrace and an auxiliary membrane canopy. The project was constructed in four weeks.
