HandyCraftyWoman: October 2008
http://handycraftywoman.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 14 October 2008. You wake to the sound of your five year old son saying ”Mummy, can we get up now? I am hungry.” You wonder why your husband has not seen to the breakfasting and remember, he is at work today and will have left before 6am. Creaking, your lower back tender (the price of a soft bed) you roll over, slide your legs over the edge of the bed and sit up. Good morning, good morning. It’s all downhill from here ;). The Breathtaking Beauty of Nature. This little light of mine. Ina May Gask...

HandyCraftyWoman: Late nights...
http://handycraftywoman.blogspot.com/2008/04/late-nights.html
Saturday, 12 April 2008. I am smitten with these Obi belts, the best I have found, totally original and with a delicate shaping. It's all in the details with an Obi. Yummy use of colour in merino wool and silks making one of a kind pieces so special to wear and share. Enchanted Gypsy Fibre Arts. I so love these beautiful creations :). Thank you, sweetie! I'm totally clueless too about the picture usage but I'm totally flatter-ghasted. What a nice thing to wake up to! 18 April 2008 at 16:36. New out of New.

HandyCraftyWoman: Sometimes I bore myself. Really. I do.

Tuesday, 15 April 2008. Sometimes I bore myself. Really. I do. Another day another hat. Or two. I am itching to just disapear up my own and sew sew sew. But my schedule of procrastinating says no no no. Then I just lose it from time to time and make a hat so I can say: "HAH! I am making stuff look! I made another hat." And then I make the kids wear them. Some of them agree to it some of them don't. Without translating them from gobbledeegook first? New out of old. New out of New. New out of old. Take a w...

HandyCraftyWoman: April 2008
http://handycraftywoman.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, 24 April 2008. Searching around for cheap new ethically produced products left me feeling soul-less, so I went with some fleece blankets and cotton sheets from IKEA, that turned out to be not expensive considering the yardage and I love the colours. So, not exactly in line with my original plan.but life is what happens while we are busy making other plans and all that. New out of New. Tuesday, 15 April 2008. Sometimes I bore myself. Really. I do. I am making stuff look! New out of old. Yummy us...

HandyCraftyWoman: June 2008
http://handycraftywoman.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 9 June 2008. Take your medicine.Take your medicine. Learning gratitude, learning perspective. Heart says take your medicine. And I say: “I accept, I accept, I accept.”. My medicine is the wild moors and the heather, the sand lubbing adder snaking it’s path adjunct to mine, the ever green trees and the rustling leaves of the beech. My medicine is the road that leads nowhere upon which I walk and the dust I become when I am nothing in thought. I accept, I accept, I accept. I accept the space of thi...

Sunday, 11 May 2008. A Happy Mothering Sunday to you. It is probably a good job I live miles and miles from anyone likely to think about passing by. Actually, if they did pass by I'd want to know who they were and what in the name of names. Did they think they were doing passing by hereabouts and would they mind at all getting. My land cos this ere is. Willing to compromise etc. To the mothers who look in the mirror and think 'You are a failure! Or even 'rather better than average mother'? New out of New.
