Cat's Food, Wine, and Lodging Reviews. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. My Husband's Birthday Dinner! My husband's birthday fell on a Friday this year so we decided to simply meet in town at one of our favorite restaurants after he finished work. He picked Asado. We finished the meal by sharing their chocolate torte. Our server had of course inserted a lit candle. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Sunday, January 11, 2009. We ate at Preservation Kitchen. Next, my husband and I had the house sala...

Friday, September 05, 2008. So I noticed last time I blogged was last December, so here is what has happened since then. This summer we decided to join a CSA farm (Community Supported Agriculture). We joined Root Connection. Which I had never seen before. Because of all the veggies we are getting every couple of weeks we have a night where all we eat are veggies. We did this last night, here was the menu:. Green Beans with Mushrooms and bacon. Yellow beans with just a touch of butter. Family Visits - Mat...

Wednesday, February 11, 2009. It has been awhile. So here is a recap on what is happening in my life. I am still working at BlueKai, and loving it. I stayed very busy in December when we were working on due diligence for the round of funding we received. We are very excited to continue to see growth throughout the rest of this year. My older brother, Joel, is getting married in June, so we will be down to San Diego for that. We are excited to have Cindi join our family! Matt's in the Market. Smoked S...

Cat's Food, Wine, and Lodging Reviews: Bothell Evening
http://catsfoodwineandlodgingreviews.blogspot.com/2009/01/bothell-evening.html
Cat's Food, Wine, and Lodging Reviews. Sunday, January 11, 2009. We ate at Preservation Kitchen. Preservation Kitchen is located in Bothell, and as I looked on the GPS I realized it was near the river trail where I had run a 50K race the week before. We haven’t been to Bothell in many years, and now twice in one week – hmmmm. We finished the meal with bread pudding with lavender ice cream for my husband and me. And, goat cheese and walnut fritters in a honey sauce with lavender ice cream. I enjoy...I lov...

Seventeen hours of sunshine: April 2007
http://seventeenhoursofsunshine.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Seventeen hours of sunshine. Monday, April 30, 2007. Two mountain passes, kielbasa, and beers. Its official.spring has sprung. This past weekend Emily and I made the obligatory trek to the middle of Washington state to dust off our little summer place, clean the boat, and soak up a little sunshine. We left on Saturday around noon with no real plan other than grab a coffee and point the wagon east. Lacking any sort of real agenda we decided to travel over Stevens Pass via Hwy 2 then stop in Leavenworth.
