Sunday, August 21, 2005. The black-eyed susans have been blooming for weeks now . And the dogwood garden is glorious with lily-scented hostas and bright bursts of impatiens and coleus color. Mom's Angel is surrounded with blossoms. The roses are in the middle of a second bloom too. Last year I wondered if this bush would survive! On the patio, the pots are overflowing with growth. And in this case, color too. And then there are some very strange things emerging from the grass! The Longview of Life.

Tuesday, September 04, 2007. In the sun garden, these sturdy daisies just keep blooming 9/2/05. Though the begonias have hardly a one. A month ago, the bunnies had eaten this hosta down to nothing but somehow it greened up and is now blooming! The red fountains are blooming again and the autumn joy sedum (below) are about to pop open. The black-eyed Susans are on their last legs but the Korean aster to their left will be pretty soon. Sunday, July 10, 2005. Phlox and blossom-heavy hydrangea are loving the day heat. Yellow rockets and orange and burgundy day lilies are a terrific combination in the dogwood garden. Black" hollyhocks are healthy for the first time. These orange and burgundy lilies are so showy now that they get more sun. That's a dead robin it seemed to feed on for more than an hour.). That's a green apple the squirrel is caught red, er, green-handed with.). Posted by Alanna Kellogg @ 5:39 PM. The Longview of Life.
