Here comes baby's Blog. New parents embarking on adventure…. The Doctor confirmed it on Monday 2-15-10 that we are going to be having a child. Now the race begins, trying to get everything completed in 9 months. Due date is around 10-12-10 we will find out more accurately on our next visit which is in 3 weeks. At the doctors we picked up magazines and information for babies, and Mandy has yet to put them down. We are so excited! While I didn’t get to go to this appointment, She heard the heartbeat!

Here comes baby's Blog. New parents embarking on adventure…. Cloth Diapers.Umm I’m closer to saying yes! Last night we attended Cloth Diapering 101 at Cotton Babies. All I was thinking was can I fold it, wash it and reuse it and really keep my baby clean the way a disposable diaper does? YES- You Don’t have to. It’s called bumGenius 3.0. An amazing creation that is a 1 Size diaper that fits 7-35 pounds, has inserts that just slip in and then back out, throw in the diaper pail and then wash, dry, reuse.

Harder to take off for middle of the night diaper changes without waking the baby. Snap-ups: a wee more time consuming to snap initially but much easier for diaper changes because you don’t have to lift the entire leg to get to the rest of the diaper. Don’t even get me started on gowns. Easy on, easy off!

For some reason, pregnancy/babies make people loose their sense of appropriateness of questions or comments.
