I don't love cooking, and I haven't done much of it these past 5 months because it's just not fun to cook for one. (I buy frozen entrees and ready-made salads or eat out.) A good friend of mine is pregnant with her first baby, a little boy, due at the beginning of June! I really like to hand-make things for my closer friends, I just think it's something special. So when I saw this knit pattern on Etsy. For a very affordable price. Excuse the yellowy-pink lighting, that's my bedroom light for ya. Finished size of cocoon: 17 inches long (unrolled) and 20" circumference.

Whilst in this cacoon she has been literally turned into jelly. In the last little while, all of a sudden there has begun to be a change inside her crystalis. Things are starting to change. Form is beginning to take shape. Foundations are begining to grow. New strength is found amongst the jelly. Soon the bonds will break and the new Clair will emerge.
