Xeno·bi·otic (zen′ō bī ät′ik, zē′nō-). 1 designating or of a chemical substance that is foreign, and usually harmful, to living organisms. Well, you know I have kids so I don't think I can possibly be xenobiotic. I wonder if this word could be used instead of antibiotic or antiseptic? Lag·gard (lag′ərd). 1 a slow person, esp. one who is always falling behind; loiterer. Though I did almost get a ticket for loitering once, it wasn't because I was slow, it was because I was a teenager. Generally speaking, I'm pretty excited about things and in a "group" learning situation, like a museum tour, I'm usually right up front. I think I'm whatever the opposite of laggard.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Save your shoulder and sling your baby! When I was first pregnant with my daughter, the thought of "babywearing" was so foreign to me that I simply couldn't imagine why anyone would want to do it. I mean, WHY would you want to schlep your little one around ON you? Wouldn't that be uncomfortable? Then, a friend asked me if I'd ever tried a ring sling. Lightweight, easy to use, endlessly adjustable even WITH the baby in it, and much prettier! And, it would SAVE my shoulder!

Thursday, December 2, 2010. Hellois this thing on? WOW I remembered my password! I should really get back to blogging again on somewhat of a regular basis! I just read through my last post so I can catch up on what's been going on in my life, apparently I had a really busy summer! Which has now turned into the holidays, time sure does fly!
