Friday, August 21, 2015. The Little Car Show. Justin, Auggie, and I went while kids were in school. I wanted to put all those cute little cars in my pocket and take them home. Exotics on Cannery Row. My favorite event of the week. Cannery Row was blocked off and the street was lined with super fancy cars. Justin was posing Auggie next to that black sports car for a picture,. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Oh look, we fed more animals. This was at a deer farm in Flagstaff. Justin went there when he was a kid and wanted the kids to have the same experience. Only I'm not sure the deer were so aggressive back then. These guys had Sally in tears. And Drew's foot got trampled in the stampede for the deer food he was holding. The place had other animals, too, including this angry camel and a few reindeer. Last stop of the trip: Bearizona. Not Worth. It. Aside: this Owen selfie is cute.

Friday, December 26, 2014. December 20th at Garland Ranch in Carmel Valley. Links to this post. A Month of Christmas. A visit to Santa at Bass Pro Shop in Mesa. They got a perfect picture of Penny on Santa's lap. Ours was the opposite of that. Broke out the chocolate and Lego advent calendars. Drew's didn't last long. Pacific Grove Christmas Tree Lighting. Love our small-town festivities. Sally, in her shyness, barely participated. Drew had some great jazz hands. Pacific Grove light parade with the Wades.

Friday, August 22, 2014. Drew had been waiting 10 weeks for this moment. I tried, but didn't cut it when it came to playing catch. It killed the kids to go to school after we picked Justin up from the airport. When they got home (and finished homework) they were just happy to be out front with Justin. Thursday, August 06, 2015. Last Days of Summer. Carmel Beach and a bonfire with friends are good ways to end the summer. Cal, Owen, Nathaniel, Drew, and Nolan. Auggie really likes dogs, especially strangers' dogs. And he also likes to yell at the top of his lungs while racing to the ocean. Monique is the best. Auggie would agree, since she is the source of unlimited chocolate. Owen and Drew were too beached out from the bonfire to spend their. Last day of summer at the beach. Working on his Jeep.

It was cute but missing the true meaning of the season. Max had this face the entire time.not a single word came out of his mouth. Briant was so glad he wasn't the one up there this time! My camera kept taking blurry pictures.I'm convinced one of the kids has been messing with the settings : ) Anyway, there were lots of characters and music but best of all was the train ride through all the lights! I love that Gwen still believes that these characters are real.however she was curious as to why they couldn't talk!

Thursday, February 17, 2011. On the road again. A few weeks ago we rode bikes over to a friends house for dinner. When we came back out, my bike was gone! I thought for sure Jared was playing a joke on me, but no, it was STOLEN! I have missed my bike A LOT. I was able to replace it this week and Gwen and I are happy to be on the road again! Briant participated in his first Pinewood Derby! He walked into that room KNOWING he was going to win first place! So did all the other boys! Our first couple picture!

Sunday, May 15, 2011. Grace was blessed March 13, 2011. Unfortunately Sarah and all the kids were sick, so Tamir and Sarah's family went to church without the day's honoree. We ended up having our bishop/home teacher and the other member of the bishopric join us at home for her blessing. We're grateful that Sarah's family drove down for the event. Tsaagan Sar (White Month). In celebration of the Mongolian lunar new year, we ate Mongolian food and dressed the kids up in their traditional Mongolian clothes.
